Building Bridges: Working in Harmony for Affordable Energy
21st Annual National Low Income Energy Conference
June 4-7, 2007
Nashville Airport Marriott Hotel, Nashville, TN
Nashville served as the host city for a landmark occasion: a new decade for the National Low Income Energy Consortium and our 21st Annual National Low Income Energy Conference.
True to its image as the "Music City," Nashville has become synonymous with the word “harmony” – a blending of sounds and voices, a state of agreement among the elements of a whole. That’s exactly what the National Low Income Energy Conference attempts to achieve: bringing together people from diverse areas of interest in a harmonious atmosphere to focus on the energy needs of low-income Americans.
The theme of the 2007 National Low Income Energy Conference was Building Bridges: Working in Harmony for Affordable Energy, which could not be more appropriate as a reflection of both Nashville's image and the NLIEC's mission.
